Prime Minister Boris Johnson is due to outline his lockdown exit strategy later on Monday and details about his plan are beginning to emerge.

Vaccines Minister Nadhim Zahawi spoke to the BBC this morning to confirm some aspects of the four-step plan to ease lockdown restrictions.

Zahawi confirmed a fifth step in the four-step plan.

Step one will see schools re-open and outdoor social meetings between two people allowed from March 8th.

Step two, which is called step one, part two, will see some sporting activity and outdoor social meetings for groups of up to six allowed from March 29th.

Beyond step one, part two, which is step two, step two, which is step three, is expected to begin in April. The Prime Minister is expected to announce specific dates later today.
