Killer in the Back Seat

A woman driving alone a lonely road one night was begin to feel anxious as the car was running very low on gas and she had no idea how far it would be until the next gas station.

Soon, though, her prayers were answered and she found a small rundown looking place, but a gas station nonetheless. She pulled up and the attendent came over to her.

She asked him to fill the car up, but the man seemed reluctant to do so, instead scanning the car with his eyes. The woman felt uneasy.

When the attendent asked the woman to step out of the car, alarm bells began to ring in her mind. He assured her that he wanted to show her something under the hood, that he believed there was something wrong with the car.

Trying to push her irrational fears to the back of her mind, the woman got out of the car and followed the man to the front, where the two peered into the engine.

"This car is gonna need a tow," the man said loudly. Then he leaned in closer to the woman and her hair stood on end. "I need you to come with me right now, into the gas station."

The woman's legs tensed up as adrenaline began to course through her body and she prepared to run.

Sensing this, the man grabbed the woman's arm tightly. She opened her mouth to scream, but he placed a hand over her mouth.

"Don't say a word," he whispered. "I need you to come into the gas station with me so we can call the police. You have to be quiet. There's a man hiding in the back seat of your car and I don't want him to know that I've seen him."
