Prince George has sparked quite the rant from the leader of a right-wing party in Ireland.

Last month, the four-year-old was snapped pulling an adorable pose while on board a helicopter and LGBT news site PinkNews published a hilarious article called “People think Prince George looks fabulous in this new photo.”

“Prince George has become a gay icon overnight,” the site proclaimed.

“The monarch-to-be has always been cute and well-dressed, but one day before his fourth birthday, a photo of him excitedly holding his face change everything.”

While most people have seen the funny side of the cute image, Jim Allister, leader of the right-wing Traditional Unionist Voice party of Northern Ireland, seems to have missed the joke entirely.

He recently described the PinkNews article as “outrageous and sick,” and has demanded that the site remove the page and apologize.

“Sexualising a young child in this fashion is entirely inappropriate,” Mr Allister’s rant continued. “In reality, the photo which prompted the piece show a four-year-old boy who is smartly dressed and excited about being on a helicopter with his male father and female mother. To take an image of a little boy and fantasise of him being an icon for a life defined by sex is outrageous and sick.”

Mr Allister also accused PinkNews of using 1970s stereotyping… While declaring the LGBT community to be defined by sex and sex alone.

PinkNews has said they have no intention of removing the article, and the internet continues to enjoy the amusing snap.

Mr Allister, no doubt, continues screaming into the void.
